Why is it a massive update, Kenzie?
Well because I am utterly and completely incapable of making anything in just one color. That’s why there are lots of goodies this update.
Let’s get started with something I’m uber-excited about. Little Touches is a proud sponsor of (and participating vendor in) the Where’s The Love Hunt. The hunt organizer is so incredibly … well, organized. She knows her stuff and her hunters know that they will be treated to a fun hunt with awesome prizes from wonderful creators.
The hunt runs Feb 3rd through Feb. 24th. I know I know, I’m a little late getting the word out. Head on over to the official blog for the hints and get to hunting!

Ok next up … those who are used to visiting Little Touches on the Marketplace will notice that the banner at the top says Little Touches & PipSqueaKs by Kenzie. I’m not sure how many people are aware, but I’m co-owner of PipSqueaKs, a shop geared towards kids and kids-at-heart, with Mimi Wilkinson. Due to the way the Marketplace is set up only one avatar can “own” a shop there, and each avatar can only own one shop. Pain in mah ass. Anyway, we set up a Marketplace shop with a shared alt, but sending her our items to list got to be a major headache. Long story short, the PipSqueaKs Marketplace shop is still there and will remain there, however new items will be listed on either Mimi’s own Marketplace, Create A Scene, and my new stuff will be listed at Little Touches. (Did I lose ya yet?) Fear not! ALL the items are in the PipSqueaKs shop in-world.
Which brings me to the newest releases. The Penguins with ear muffs I released at Christmas were such a hit that I decided to make one for year round. I’ve done a sweet little baby penguin, complete with diaper and binky. He comes in six different color schemes: Red, Purple, Pink, Green, Orange and Blue. He also comes in two sizes. One for kid sized avies and one for adult sized.

Next comes one of my favorites. The Mopey Chair. It’s perfect when you’ve had one of those days. There are 7 quality animated sits in the chair and the chair has a squinchy faced toast pillow and a comforting quilt hanging from the arm of the chair. It comes in Red Gingham, Blue Gingham, Teal Gingham, Cherry Plaid, Hunter Plaid, Blue Plaid, Violet Plaid and Warm Brown Plaid. The chairs are all out at the shop, so stop by and test them out. They are copiable so you can put out a whole slew of ‘em for your friends!

Now this next one is the “normal” version of the Welcome Gnome. (Get it, welcome ‘gnome’ .. welcome home). He’s currently welcoming visitors to the shop and seeing as how he’s wearing red for the upcoming holiday I’ve taken to calling him Gnomeo. *snicker snort*

A kicky, fun way to display your pictures of your favorite memories is up next. A six panel frame, ready for you to drag and drop your own pictures onto the panels. Sculpted letters at the top spell out the word Memories. In true Kenzie fashion I’ve done two versions. Version1 has the letters in classic blue and cream. Version 2 has the letters in color wash patterns that are changeable via a drop down menu.

And lastly I leave you with a Valentine goody full of naughty fun for you and your lover. This is the Wicked Wishes Lover’s Game with tray. The tray holds lots of goodies and the Wishes jar is the actual game. You click it to get Love Coupons which you redeem with your lover. I put this out as a hunt gift months ago and people loved it, so I thought I’d make it available again in time for Valentine’s Day.
The tray has 10 different texture change options, via a drop down menu. Read more about the items on the Marketplace listing.

The Chicken Soup Hunt started today and Kenzie has really outdone herself with FOUR, yes FOUR fabulous prizes!
The theme for the hunt is items to cure your cold or flu! The first prize you will find is FREE and it will be in a Soup Can. Then the three other hunt objects (Soup Bowls) will have prizes and they will be priced between $5L and $50L. Get started at Little Touches NOW!

It’s a new year, and tons of NEW things are happening at Little Touches! Kenzie has been SUPER busy over the holidays working on new items, getting accepted into hunts, and redoing the store!
It’s your LAST chance to get the item for the Peace on Earth 4, which ends January 3rd. BUT the item will be left out through the weekend. SO grab it before it’s gone!

I’m beginning to believe that Santa’s elves definitely need a raise!
All the stuff I posted in the last entry is now up for sale in-world and on the Marketplace.

The newest addition to the huggable line is this adorable little Christmas teddy. I made him in 2 sizes – one for overgrown kids like me and one for kid-sized avvies.
Isn't he just precious?
He’s only 9 prim, which means if you’d like to put him out as a decoration he won’t be a prim hog and at only 40L he’s a GREAT gift idea for friends. He’s transferable, so if you pick him up in world, it’s easy to give him as a gift.
Next up in the furniture and decor department are a trio of bookcases. When I was a little girl my mother put my doll collection in one of these and the same bookcase is sitting in my mom’s living room to this day! I did three different styles…well two styles, with a variation of one of them. (Kenzie and Math don’t mix, ya’ll should know this.)
Anywho .. first up is the Lawyer’s Bookcase like mine:
The decor comes with it!
Yep, the lamp, lace covered candle, books, basket and bowl of balls all come with it. The whole set is soft-linked so READ the notecard that comes with it before you rez it out. It’s C/M/NT, so you can put out as many bookcases as you’d like! Add your own decor, remove mine, mix it up. Whatever butters your biscuit.
Now, traditionally these bookcases are taller than wider, so I did one of those styles. One is stately in its simplicity:

The other has an elegant etched bloom on the glass panes to lend a bit of femininity to it.

Now for a little bit of whimsy! It may be cold and snowy in a lot of places, but for some reason I got on a flowery/gardening kick. Go figure.
I did this pegboard shelf and immediately thought of the fun flowers to put on it. This is loaded with texture options. Each flower has 8 textures, so you can mix or match. The hanky also has 8 textures, so let your inner decorator go wild. Only 9 prim and it’s a fantastic gift idea too!

Now, for the semi-more-serious-home-gardener, I came up with this combo. A sweet gardening wagon loaded down for getting the crops out. HEY! A small plot can grow crops. Geeze, you don’t have to have a massive farm to get some veggies for your own table, right?

Oh my gosh, I’ve been in this whirlwind of activity and have some new goodies up in the shop already and more coming soon. So much is going on that I dunno where to start! Warning: This entry will be filled with RAW snapshots, because I’m so excited to share them with ya’ll that I couldn’t wait until they’ve been all prettied up with branding.
Ok first, the Cream Filled Hunt is officially over, however I still have the prize item out for my fellow procrastinators. You know who you are.
Starting December first I’ll have two new hunts kick off. The first one is over at the shop I co-own with Mimi, PipSqueaKs. It is the Willowdale Elementary School Christmas hunt and I’ve put some red mittens that snow when ya click ‘em and the kid-sized huggable Candy Cane teddy bear into the gift box. I’m not sure what Meems is putting in there but I know it will be awesome.
The second is the Fourth Annual Peace On Earth hunt. The gift is a tray with a cute cocoa pot and two mugs of cocoa, along with a can of whipped cream, cuz what’s cocoa without it? You touch the pot and get a wearable cup of cocoa with a really cool drinking hold/anim.

Ok, what next? Oh! My wreaths! I did three versions. A plain, for the minimalists out there. One with little show drifts, that will look perfect outside. And one with cute ornaments and a Letters to Santa envelope on it.

Next up is a sweet box of ornaments. This looks like that box everyone has of the old reliable ornaments that must be put on the tree every year.

And yep, you saw a glimpse of it! My toy wooden train, all dressed up for Christmas. I have it in regular cheerful colors for everyday use, but I wanted to do a red and green version of it to run around the bottom of a tree. Yeppers, it moves around and around the tree and little puffs of smoke comes from the engine!

The tree … this is one of two that I’m doing (so far, who knows I may add another or seven.) I wanted to do something a little different. I mean, let’s face it there’s a bazillion Christmas trees out there in SL-land that spin, twirl, blink and probably do naughty things too. I went with a minimalist approach. Ok, an extremely minimal approach on it. It’s just the tree, at the moment you bring it in and set it up. With the box of ornaments sitting beside it, it looks like you are ready to start your decorating.

Next up … my Soup Pot Snowman. When I saw this little guy he instantly made me think of my friend, Kilolo. She has this Super Grover jammies set she runs around in now and then, soup pot helmet included. So .. in honor of Super Kilo, I present to you my snowy take on the situation. He’s holding a sign, picketing for snow, and if you touch his pot a light gentle snowfall starts. Touch him again to turn it off.

And a Christmas gift idea for ya. Everyone loves personalized stuff, right? I did some cute personalized chalkboards. There’s five different “standard” colors, but if you’d like another shade, just indicate it on the order form and I’ll see what I can do. Here’s a group shot, using names of friends. (I have the greatest friends, yanno!)
